The aim is to ensure the functionality and measurement accuracy of devices and systems.

In the Measurement and control technologyWhere very small and sensitive signals are frequently transmitted, the use of shielded cables and lines is particularly important. Effective shielding prevents external electromagnetic fields from coupling into signal or control lines and at the same time reduces the emission of internal interference fields to the outside.

Depending on the application, different shielding materials and techniques are used, for example conductive metal foils, braided shields, metallized foils or even closed metal housings such as Switch cabinet walls. These materials act as a Faraday cage by dissipating or absorbing electric and magnetic fields. Correct earthing of the shielding is crucial for its effectiveness.

Consistent shielding measures can reduce interference, improve signal quality and increase the operational reliability of the entire system.

["post-6738","glossar","type-glossar","status-publish","hentry
["GET
