It complies with the standard <strong>EN 50288<\/strong> and features twisted-pair conductors that reduce electromagnetic interference and enable reliable signal transmission. Compared to CAT-5 cables, CAT 6 offers improved transmission characteristics and supports higher data rates and greater bandwidths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For short to medium cable lengths, CAT-6 cables can support operating frequencies of up to <strong>250 MHz<\/strong> can be achieved. This makes them particularly well-suited for modern Ethernet networks, industrial communication systems, and applications in measurement, testing, and automation technology, where large amounts of data must be transmitted quickly and reliably.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In measurement technology, CAT-6 cables are frequently used to network measurement data acquisition systems, data loggers, industrial PCs, controllers, and decentralized I\/O components. The high transmission quality enables reliable communication between distributed systems and supports the real-time transmission of measurement values, process data, and diagnostic data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, the actual transmission performance that can be achieved does not depend solely on the type of cable. Factors such as cable length, installation conditions, connector quality, electromagnetic interference, and the network hardware used all affect the maximum data rate and signal quality. Particularly in industrial environments with high-power drives, switchgear, or frequency converters, additional interference can occur that impairs transmission quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For this reason, actual operating conditions should be taken into account when planning measurement and communication networks.
