Analyze & optimize energy consumption of streetcars - with the Expert Logger<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In this video, we show how a streetcar operator uses our Expert Logger device to systematically record and optimize the energy consumption of its vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The measuring device and GSM module were installed directly above the streetcar and connected to the on-board electrical system. It records current and voltage values during real journeys - for example during heavy starting, braking or skipping stops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By linking to a GPS sensor, the measurement data can be mapped exactly to the route traveled. In the ProfiSignal measurement software, the data is visualized in XY diagrams - so the operator can see, for example, exactly which sections of the route consume a particularly large amount of energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also provide KML files that can be used to reconstruct the routes, including the energy profile, in Google Earth. Data is transmitted live via mobile radio directly to the customer's server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
