Measuring chain
Measuring chain | Processing of the value to be measured from the sensor to the display. A measuring chain consists of 1. the sensor (conversion of the physical quantity into an electrical signal), 2. the signal path (line from the sensor to the measuring device), 3. the conversion into digital information (A/D converter in the measuring device) and 4. the display of the information (in the GUI). Errors can occur along the entire measurement chain, which can add up or cancel each other out. With Delphin products, the measurement error is corrected by the software using sensor compensation.
