Vibration analysis for more product quality and efficiency
With a modern vibration analysis and frequency analysis, you can precisely investigate vibration phenomena and optimize their behaviour. Whether it is shaft, bearing or housing vibrations - a precise vibration analysis makes it possible to identify the causes of such phenomena and develop sustainable solutions.
What advantages does a comprehensive vibration analysis with Delphin offer you?
- Early fault detection: Identify irregularities, defects or signs of wear using precise vibration analysis and frequency analysis before they lead to major problems.
- Improved process stability: Reduce disruptive vibrations and increase the efficiency and product quality of your production.
- Increased machine service life: Minimize damage caused by vibrations and protect your systems from long-term wear.
- Flexibility through universal sensor integration: Use any sensors for vibration detection and combine them with binary or analog process signals.
- Precise frequency analysis: Analyze vibrations in real time with high-resolution frequency spectra (FFT) and gain detailed insights into the causes of vibrations.
- Data-based optimization: Use calculated parameters such as vibration velocity and vibration energy to make informed decisions for maintenance and process improvement.
- Long-term monitoring: Capture sporadic vibration phenomena over longer periods of time and ensure continuous stability.
- Self-sufficient data storage: The Delphin vibration meter stores all relevant data independently of the company network and PCs, thus ensuring maximum availability of analysis information.
By using the latest technologies in frequency analysis and vibration analysis, you can specifically detect vibration problems and prevent consequential damage. Typical areas of application are
- Analysis and root cause analysis of vibration problems in machines, systems and processes
- Pattern recognition for vibration problems
- Checking the effectiveness of vibration reduction measures
- Long-term monitoring of vibration phenomena
Practical example to analyze vibrations
Accurate pressure vibration measurement on a waste heat boiler
Vibrations occurred in a waste heat boiler downstream of a gas turbine, which led to noise in the form of sheet metal vibrations and disturbed the neighborhood of the power plant. Initially, it was not possible to find a clear cause. Only pressure vibration measurements carried out with the vibration meter Expert Vibro helped to locate the source of the problem in the boiler. After structural changes were made to the boiler, the measurement was repeated and the effectiveness was clearly demonstrated.
