Record measured values via WLAN
Measured value recording via WLAN makes it possible to wirelessly record and transmit data from various sensors and devices. The measured values are recorded by the sensors and sent to a receiving device via a WLAN connection. This receiving device can be a computer, a smartphone or a special measuring device, for example. The measured values can be transmitted quickly and reliably via WLAN without the need for cable connections. This enables flexible and mobile measurement data acquisition, which is used in many areas such as industry, medicine or environmental technology.
The wireless transmission of measured values via WLAN offers advantages in a number of applications. In addition to stationary use, WLAN measured value transmission is often used in mobile applications, for example for the transmission of rotating machine parts such as generators or propellers. The Loggito data loggers can be equipped directly with an integrated WLAN interface. The measured values are transmitted online via the antennas located directly on the device.

Practical example of measured value acquisition via WLAN
Data transmission via WLAN from the computer tomograph
When testing computer tomographs, measured values and performance data are recorded on a rotating component and transmitted wirelessly to the PC. Temperatures and voltage values are recorded. The data is transmitted to the PC via WLAN. The transmission distance is approx. 5 meters. The measuring environment is subject to high levels of electromagnetic radiation. WLAN transmission is carried out using standard components. The transmission rates are high enough to transmit thousands of measured values per second. The measurement results have shown that the electromagnetic radiation and the movement of the antennas have no effect on the WLAN transmission. The galvanically isolated inputs of the Delphin measuring devices ensure interference-free acquisition and A/D conversion of the signals.
