Reliable data transmission via WLAN in the rotating computer tomograph

When testing modern computer tomographs, important measurement and performance data is recorded directly on a rotating component - including temperatures and voltages. This data is transmitted LIVE and completely wirelessly to a PC via WLAN - over a distance of around 5 meters. Despite the strong electromagnetic radiation in the measuring environment and the movement of the antennas, the transmission remains stable and interference-free. This is made possible by the use of standard WLAN components with a sufficiently high bandwidth to reliably transmit thousands of measured values per second.
