Measuring tasks with modular measured value acquisition
The modular data acquisition system enables precise and flexible data acquisition for a wide range of technical applications. By combining individual measurement modules, each of which has an individual number of analog and digital IOs, the system offers a high degree of adaptability and efficiency.
What advantages does modular data acquisition with Delphin offer you?
- Individual customizability: Thanks to the intelligent master-slave concept, it is freely scalable and can be adapted precisely to the requirements of the respective measuring task, from a few to 1,000 channels in one system.
- High flexibility in module selection: Various I/O modules are available to enable solutions tailored precisely to specific sensors and applications.
- Self-sufficient operation: Equipped with an internal data memory, the system can carry out measurements independently of a PC connection and store data securely.
- Integrated signal processing: Comprehensive monitoring, control and calculation functions ensure automated, precise evaluation of the recorded data.
- Reliable communication: A robust two-wire bus system and Ethernet connection guarantee fast and reliable data transmission, even in distributed systems.
- Expandability and future-proofing: The modular system can be flexibly expanded to integrate future requirements or additional measured variables without making fundamental system changes.
- Compact and space-saving design: The devices are compact and require little space, making them easy to integrate into existing systems.
- High data security: Thanks to the internal memory, measurement data is retained even if communication is interrupted, which ensures fail-safe data acquisition.
Thanks to their flexibility and adaptability, our DAQ devices for modular data acquisition offer the advantage that they can be configured and expanded depending on the application. Typical areas of application are
- 4-channel measurement systems
- Modular measurement system at test stands
- Alarm systems
- Monitoring systems
- Temperature measurement systems
- Independent modular monitoring applications
Practical example of modular measured value acquisition
Dispersed measurement in photovoltaic field trials
At a solar institute, panels from the photovoltaic sector are measured with a ProfiMessage on distributed test systems. In addition to DC voltage measurements, temperatures, radiation and weather data are recorded. The connection to the campus network is made via LAN. In order to bridge short-term outages of the LAN network, the ProfiMessage-master stores all measured values, including those from the connected slaves, in the internal memory. Data loss, especially in the case of long-term measurements, is thus reliably ruled out. The data is evaluated using ProfiSignal and scientific analysis software, which is connected online to the ProfiMessage measuring system via a driver.
