Pressure pulses on actuators, valves and fittings are extremely important for monitoring and optimizing the functionality and performance of systems. Pressure pulse measurement on control valves

A medium-sized manufacturer of valves has equipped a plant abroad with gate valves. The end customer complains about the valves due to frequent damage. Pressure peaks far outside the specification of the valves are suspected. However, the recordings of the installed pressure sensor with the PLC system do not show these pressure peaks. The manufacturer's service department installs a Delphin LogMessage system parallel to the PLC on the system's pressure sensor. The independent LogMessage recordings over several days were able to prove that the permissible pressures and peak values far outside the specification were significantly exceeded.
