Precise and synchronous transient measured value acquisition
Fast and unpredictable events require a measurement solution that offers maximum accuracy and fast sampling rates. Whether in industrial processes, energy supply or scientific applications - transient measurement is crucial for analyzing disturbances, detecting peak values and optimizing processes. With the Transient measurement you get a powerful solution for precise, synchronous acquisition and high-resolution recording of measured values - without a PC and with maximum reliability.
What advantages does a transient measurement with Delphin offer you?
- Detection of extremely fast signals: With a sampling rate of up to 50 kHz per channel, even the shortest events are recorded accurately.
- Seamless and permanent data recording: All relevant measured values, including the pre- and post-history of an event, are reliably documented.
- Precise analyses through synchronous recording: Simultaneous recording of several channels enables precise temporal analysis of signals
- Robust and fail-safe: No PC required, which means that data acquisition remains particularly stable and reliable.
- Flexible storage options: Storage on internal or external media (NAS) for maximum data security.
- Optimum time synchronization: Synchronization via NTP and PTP protocol or GPS for exact time stamping, synchronizable via GPS
- Easy integration into existing systems: Through PROFIBUS, PROFINET, OPC UA or Modbus TCP
- Versatile and expandable: Scalable solution with up to 64 analog inputs for multi-channel and complex tasks
Transient measurement is a compact, high-performance solution for the precise acquisition and analysis of transient signals - reliable, synchronous and with maximum measurement accuracy. Typical areas of application are
- Fault searching
- Pressure impulse measurement
- Peak detection in electrical networks
- Independent long-term recording
- Sound dispersal measurement
- High-speed data logger
Practical example of transient measured data acquisition
Synchronous and transient acquisition of structure-borne noise
A high-frequency measuring system with geophones is used to precisely analyze the propagation of sound waves in the ground for military applications. Up to 48 measuring points record the data, with the geophones providing an IEPE-compatible output signal. This can be sent directly to the Expert Transient System can be connected. Three Expert Transient devices, each with 16 synchronously sampled analog inputs, are used for efficient data acquisition. These devices are connected to each other via a network and use the PTP protocol for precise time synchronization. In addition, GPS-based absolute time synchronization ensures exact timing of the measurement data. Thanks to the precise synchronization, reliable data acquisition and flexible integration into existing systems, the solution enables optimized analysis and localization of sound events for efficient military applications.
