Efficient production data acquisition (PDA) and machine data acquisition (MDA) provide reliable data on the entire machine and plant fleet. However, production planners, work planners, foremen, maintenance staff and management have very different requirements. The PDC / MDA system must therefore be highly flexible. Manufacturer-specific machine control systems often limit the possibilities unnecessarily.
It is about productivity figures, energy consumption, quantities, the recording of good and bad parts, reporting of faults, analysis of downtimes, key figures for management reports or the overall view of a machine hall. The machine data provides information for plant monitoring, for planning and improvement processes or for preventive maintenance. Deviations between target and actual values are recorded online and detected at an early stage.
With such a large bandwidth, an autonomous recording and evaluation system can operate much more flexibly in parallel with the machine control system as it can be integrated into existing infrastructures with little effort. No additional computer is required for measurement data acquisition and monitoring. The data is recorded independently of the machine control system, evaluated in real time and the same system also sends the alarm messages. Higher-level control technology, systems for work preparation, ERP, PDA or MES systems can be integrated.

- Machine detection
An almost unlimited number of signal sources can be recorded centrally and usually directly without a transmitter. Sensors are connected to the data logger in both analog and digital form and via interfaces such as PROFIBUS, Modbus, OPC DA / UA system controls and peripheral devices can also be integrated. - Machine monitoring
Machine parameters are continuously monitored and can be saved for each batch. The integrated data memory works independently of the PC and saves all measurement data reliably and seamlessly. If limit values are exceeded, an automated alarm is triggered directly from the hardware. - Fault analysis
Even short interference pulses are reliably detected thanks to 100 % time-synchronous sampling of several signal sources in the microsecond range. Fault events such as limit value violations can be stored in a targeted manner, allowing even sporadic faults to be analyzed quickly. Meaningful logic and time diagrams help to identify the causes of faults more easily. - Characteristic value formation
With the help of powerful internal calculation channels, any formulas can be used to analyze and create key figures. This means that even more complex evaluations can be carried out to assess system efficiency. - Monitoring
All system data, processes and key figures are visualized in clear graphics and overviews. Such dashboards show all key information at a glance during data acquisition. Zooming also makes details visible. Areas can be selected and compared with historical values.
