Laboratory data acquisition is an important process in scientific research and analysis. It is important that the measured values are recorded precisely and reliably in order to obtain accurate results. This requires the use of suitable measuring devices, which should be calibrated and maintained regularly. In the laboratory, a measuring device must above all be flexible to use and very easy to operate. Particularly suitable for laboratories in chemistry, pharmaceuticals or at universities is the LoggitoLab device. The handy tabletop device has optional laboratory and/or thermal miniature sockets for easy connection of any current/voltage and temperature signals. Thanks to the device's internal intelligence and data memory, completely autonomous operation is possible without a connected PC. Laboratory devices such as stirrers etc. can be controlled via outputs. Sequence control and monitoring can be implemented very clearly with sequencer objects and limit value channels. Integrated reports automatically prepare the measurement results in the laboratory.

Laboratory data acquisition in the pharmaceutical sector
In the pharmaceutical laboratory of a medium-sized pharmaceutical manufacturer, Expert Key devices are used to measure flow rates, conductivity and pH values in tests. The sensors are connected via mV or mA measurements with the Expert Key connected. Several Expert Key P devices are used, which are equipped with 4 mm laboratory sockets suitable for the laboratory environment. The plug-in technology enables flexible handling and quick conversion to changing requirements. Several laboratory devices were integrated via serial interfaces. For example, a balance for gravimetric dosing and sensors with serial interfaces. The software ProfiSignal Basic is used. Data recording is batch-controlled.
