Practical example of process monitoring

Monitoring of firing processes

A manufacturer of piezo ceramics monitors its firing process with the help of message devices and a ProfiSignal application. Recording of the firing processes is started individually and automatically for each kiln and each batch as soon as a limit temperature of 100 °C is exceeded. A three-part overview diagram shows the status of all kilns and also allows quick access to detailed information about each individual kiln. An online trend can be displayed for each firing process. All data is archived on a server for each batch. Recording and monitoring is stopped as soon as the temperature falls below 90 °C again. All previous batch logs can be accessed from any workstation.
