Process variables such as pressures, temperatures and flow rates etc. often have to be recorded synchronously with electrical variables such as current, voltage and power. Examples of this are fault analysis and energy measurement on systems and machines. Delphin offers case solutions that are ideally suited for these measurement tasks. Both electrical rms values and the signal curve of AC and DC quantities can be recorded and monitored, depending on the required application. The precise measuring transducers integrated in the case transmit all electrical values via RS485 interface to the installed Delphin ProfiMessage D devices and thus synchronously in time to the data memory. The evaluation takes place with the Delphin software ProfiSignal 20. With just a few mouse clicks, the memory is read out and displayed in clear diagrams.

Optimisation of exhaust air purification processes
A manufacturer of industrial cleaning and surface treatment systems uses a universal Delphin measuring case to optimise exhaust air cleaning processes. The measuring case, equipped with a Delphin ProfiMessage D and a three-phase power meter, makes it possible to carry out a wide variety of measuring tasks on customer plants easily and simply. A special feature are the Rogowski sensors used. With these, even high system currents can be measured without disconnecting the current path. This means that the measurement can be adapted in a very short time. All data are recorded synchronously and stored in the memory of the Delphin ProfiMessage D. The analysis of the data recorded in the memory is then carried out. The analysis of the data recorded in the memory is usually done after the measurement by reading the data from the memory of the unit and evaluating it with the Delphin ProfiSignal 20 software. The Delphin DAQ software Delphin Data Center can be used to centrally record and synchronise the recorded data of the measurement case as well as other system data.
