Automated testing of bi-metal temperature regulators
A 12-channel test system was developed for a manufacturer of bi-metal temperature controllers (two-point controllers), which are used in coffee machines and other kitchen appliances, for example. The hardware was designed as a compact test device in a desktop housing with screw connection technology. This means that the test specimens can be easily connected and tested under real conditions. A resistance measuring device is provided for recording contact cold resistances. The automated application was created under ProfiSignal Klicks and guides the operator intuitively and safely through the operation. Automated testing and standard-compliant evaluation are part of the overall solution. An extension to new tests was carried out quickly and cost-effectively.
