From the sensor to the cloud - measurement technology that thinks for itself

Connection to the cloud

Today, measurement data must be recorded and analyzed in almost all processes - from machines to entire systems and test benches. Modern and future-proof measuring devices have a modular design and can be used flexibly. We present you with a solution that has universally applicable sensor inputs, offers a high level of data security and can communicate in a variety of ways. A connection to the cloud is also possible for different application scenarios.

In an industry in which production processes are becoming increasingly complex, quality requirements higher and downtimes more expensive, precise and flexible data acquisition is the key to greater productivity and efficiency. At the same time, Industry 4.0 and Big Data require measurement technology that is more than just data collection: it must pre-process and monitor measurement data, detect unusual events and immediately incorporate this into process decisions. Rigid stand-alone solutions cannot meet these requirements. What is needed are modular, scalable systems that are as flexible as the applications for which they are used.

This is exactly where the ProfiMessage D system from Delphin Technology comes in. The modular system is a measurement data acquisition device, a controller and a monitoring unit in one and forms a reliable data hub for production plants, test benches and field tests. Thanks to its expandable master/slave design and the various I/O modules, ProfiMessage D can be tailored precisely to any application and flexibly expanded at any time. Seamless integration via LAN, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, CAN bus and OPC UA makes it a future-proof building block for Industry 4.0-capable systems.

VERSATILE I/O MODULES: FLEXIBILITY AT CHANNEL LEVEL

The performance of the ProfiMessage D system is particularly evident in the variety of its high-precision I/O modules, which are designed for a wide range of signal types and allow maximum flexibility at channel level. The ADGT module has eight channels and can record voltages, currents, RTDs (Pt100/Pt1000) and thermocouples with high resolution and high galvanic isolation. It is particularly suitable for potential measurements on electrical components, for use in test benches, test systems or in environments with a high interference potential.

The ADIT module offers ten analog inputs as well as one analog and one digital output and is considered a universal all-rounder for applications that require voltage, current and temperature measurements, supplemented by the option of control or simulation via the outputs.

The ADVP and ADVT modules, each with 15 analog inputs, are available for applications with many parallel measuring points, as is often the case in process monitoring or research, and offer a high number of channels at an attractive price. The AAST module combines analogue and digital inputs and outputs and thus enables the direct implementation of control and regulation tasks within the device.

The IOIT, OTPT and DIOT modules are available for recording digital signals, pulses and frequencies, for control tasks and for status monitoring in processes. These modules work with dynamic input levels and also have galvanic isolation.

All analog modules are characterized by a high resolution of 24 bits, sampling rates up to the kHz range and galvanic isolation.
isolation of up to 750 V between the channels. This ensures interference-free and precise measurements even under demanding conditions. Thanks to the universal signal processing, the inputs can be flexibly configured for the acquisition of millivolt, milliampere, RTD and thermocouple signals, allowing the ProfiMessage D system to be easily and future-proof adapted to changing requirements and applications at any time.
