A dual-core FPGA processor based on ARM provides large reserves of computing power, thanks to which up to 16 measurement channels can be recorded simultaneously at high sampling rates and the signals evaluated. 24-bit A/D converters guarantee extreme precision. The FFT calculation takes place directly in the device. Measured values are recorded and monitored during operation. If limit values are violated, digital outputs can be switched within milliseconds.
The modular arrangement of various pre-processing functions offers particular advantages. Filters such as high-pass, low-pass or band-pass can be interconnected with rectifiers, differentiators, decimators or integrators to form pre-processing chains - similar to a modular system. An input signal can be evaluated in parallel via several of these chains, which results in an extraordinarily high degree of application flexibility.
