At the adaptive storage methods - as for example with Devistore - measured values are only saved if their value actually changes. Unchanged values are not saved again. This results in irregular time intervals between the individual data records when exporting the measurement data.
This process makes it possible to archive measured values over long periods of time with significantly reduced storage requirements. In measurement and testing technology, this is particularly advantageous when continuous monitoring is carried out and large amounts of data are generated, as storage space and evaluation effort can be significantly reduced.
