100 BaseTX

100 BaseTX defines the cabling of the network. This standard uses four twisted pairs of wires to transmit data separately in the send and receive directions. The maximum transmission speed is 100 MBit/s. The maximum length of a segment (e.g. hub to PC) is limited to 100 m with 100 BaseTX.
