Strain gauge amplifier | Strain gages usually deliver very small signals or signal changes. In order to reliably record these, so-called strain gauge amplifiers are used, which often also provide the necessary sensor supply. There are different types of strain gauge amplifiers, such as carrier frequency differential amplifiers, DC differential amplifiers and time evaluation with TDC (Time to Digital Conversion) methods, which are used depending on the application.
