Accuracy

Accuracy | (according to metrology standard DIN 1319-2), the extent to which a measuring device approximates the true value of the input variable. Measuring equipment is divided into accuracy classes. (As a rule, the true value cannot be determined directly. The correct value that can be determined using the high-precision primary standard is usually sufficiently close to the true value and is equated with it in practice).
