SCPI | Standard Command for Programmable Instruments is a standardized command set, especially for measurement technology. The commands are transmitted in the form of ASCII text, although the physical communication layer is not specified and is often transmitted via bus systems such as GPIB, RS232, USB, VXI or LXI.
