Thermocouple types | Depending on the application, thermocouples are made of different metals or metal alloys. These differ in temperature range, linearity and accuracy.
What types of thermocouple are there?
- Type J: Material Fe-CuNi (iron-constantan)
- Type N: Material NiCrSi-NiSi (Nicrosil-Nisil)
- Type E: Material NiCr-CuNi
- Type T: Material Cu-CuNi
- Type R: Material Pt13Rh-Pt
- Type S: Pt10Rh-Pt
- Type B: Pt30Rh-Pt6Rh
